Chris Johns FICCM (Dip)

Chris has completed 34 years service in the industry, fourteen in the public sector and twenty in the private. He is a fellow of the Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management, holds its diploma and is a past Chairman and President of the ICCM. Prior to co-founding Cremation Partnerships, Chris was Operations Director of of the United Kingdom's largest cremation authority, controlling 21 crematoria and six cemeteries.

Chris also co founded Memoria, a new build Crematoria Company which opened Sherwood Forest Crematorium in December 2005. This was the first site in the United Kingdom to have Mercury filtration equipment fitted. Within the next 4 years, this was followed by a further 4 crematoria being built and established by Memoria until in Spring 2009, the sites were sold to a large Crematoria authority and Chris decided to concentrate his efforts on Classic Cremation Partnerships.
